Our research aims at advancing the knowledge and theoretical foundations of complex systems design methods for product and system design, manufacturing, and life cycle to create transformational strategies for sustainability and competitiveness.

ESOL News

A paper by Dedy Suryadi and Harrison Kim was recognized as one of the Reviewers' Choice Award (top 10%) in the International Conference on Engineering Design (ICED19) in Delft, The Netherlands.


Prof. Kim was awarded with the ASME Kos Ishii - Toshiba Award for his contributions in design for sustainability and manufacturing in 2019.
Prof. Kim was awarded with research funding from Hyundai Motor Co. for User-Centered Vehicle Suspension System Design $120,000 (2018-2019), and from Deere and Co. for Sustainable Product Design $1,192,090 (2010-2019).
Prof. Kim was named Donald Biggar Willett Scholars for 2015.
ESOL alumnus, Dr. Dedy Suryadi started as a faculty member in Parahyangan Catholic University. He is the fourth faculty member among ESOL alumni.
